A brewing district south of Nagaoka Station that thrived as a transport hub in the Edo period, where soy sauce, sake, and miso makers gathered. Registered tangible cultural properties and other historic resources remain, including the plaster-relief storehouse of Kina Saffron Shuhonpo.
