A morning market that began in 2004 at Tatehana fishing port in Shinminato, Hachinohe. An otherwise empty, wide quay fills with stalls and people for the morning, like a town that appears and then disappears. Hachinohe seafood and mountain produce, prepared foods such as senbei-jiru, sundries and antiques are all on offer, and eating as you stroll over a relaxed breakfast is described as the local way to enjoy it.
