Agano Roadside Station

The first roadside station in Agano, Niigata, opened in August 2022 along the Agano Bypass of National Route 49. Its building has a row of triangular roofs modeled on Mount Gozu, the symbol of Agano, with a park on the lawn outside and an indoor playroom with play equipment. The food court serves Agano's food, such as pizza made with wheat grown in Agano, and the shop sells fresh vegetables harvested in the city and local products.
