Hiraizumi Roadside Station

A roadside station that opened in April 2017 in Hiraizumi, Iwate, a historic town with many national treasures and important cultural properties, including the World Heritage temples Chuson-ji and Motsu-ji. Its spacious interior, warm with wood, is divided into a farm produce corner, stocked with fresh produce from Hiraizumi and doburoku (unfiltered sake), and a restaurant serving dishes made with fresh local vegetables.
