A roadside station in Iide, Yamagata, on National Route 113, which links Niigata and Miyagi. Nearby sights include the Donden-daira lily garden, the submerged forest of Lake Shirakawa, and Mount Tengu. Depending on the season it sells wild mountain vegetables, fruit such as cherries, and mushrooms. Popular items include soy sauce koji, pickles of more than ten kinds of vegetables, and Yamagata's tama konnyaku.
