A roadside station in Kusatsu, Shiga, on the Karasuma Peninsula of Lake Biwa. Marked by a large windmill along the lakeshore road, it sells local specialty products as a base for local production for local consumption, built on exchange with city residents. The peninsula is also home to the Lake Biwa Museum and an aquatic plant park, and a neighboring facility offers farming experiences.
