Nishijin Textiles

Kyoto textiles named after the site of the Western Army's headquarters in the Onin War, where weavers gathered after the war; they are figured fabrics woven from pre-dyed yarn, with many kinds of silk weaves such as tsuzure, nishiki and donsu.
