Satsuma Shuzo Meijigura

A shochu distillery at the southernmost tip of the Satsuma Peninsula that has continued since the Meiji era. A team of craftspeople, including the toji, still makes shochu in the traditional way, and visitors can watch the shikomi (mashing) up close.
