Marukin Soy Sauce Museum

A memorial hall opened in 1987 by a Shodoshima soy sauce company to mark its 80th anniversary, by converting one of its factories built in the early Taisho period. In a gassho-style building registered as a tangible cultural property, it introduces the history and methods of soy sauce making through tools from the Meiji era and other exhibits.
