Saga Sake
41 Saga

Sake brewed in Saga Prefecture with water drawn in the prefecture, protected by the geographical indication "Saga". Set against the Saga Plain, one of Kyushu's major rice-growing areas, brewing is said to have flourished after the Saga domain lord Nabeshima Naomasa encouraged it in the late Edo period.
